Another day

Well, it was my EDO (earned day off). Of course things are so crazy busy right now I had to go in for a 2 hour meeting. On top of it I got my daughter today!! That is a good, actually GREAT thing! I usually don't get her until 3:30pm when I pick her up from school, in a city about 45 minutes away, but she didnt have school today and her mother brought her here today! saved me a trip.

Anyways, I went to my meeting, got it over with, and spent the rest of the day with my girl. We went and did a little window shopping, I am trying to find a deep freeze, a small one for my apartment. We went and picked up a new heatsink and fan for my computer CPU. I guess I'll have to install that soon.

I try to make the time my daughter and I are together as normal as possible. I try not to make every time she is with me a big event. Sometimes we just hangout in the apartment most the weekend, sometimes we go see a movie, go to the museum, a walk around the park/lake or whatever, it is just nice to spend time with her.

Of course this is my youngest daughter. My eldest, I don't really get to see anymore. The legal system is really screwed up. After not missing a child support payment in 13 years, her mother decides she should come back and take more money, now I can;t afford to see my oldest daughter. Now I guess I am supporting my ex and her new husband.

Oh well, I hope the weather changes soon, it has been a terribly cold and icky winter! Can;t wait for the warm weather!

It is time for sleep, my girl is snoring away already so ... I guess I should crash to.
